Vanessa Daws (Ireland) – Stop motion animation workshop

Vanessa Daws has been teaching stop motion animation since 2009. 
She creates animation projects to all groups of all ages in any context. She is a visual artist and has been facilitating art for over 20 years, working in a huge variety of art organizations in Ireland and England.
Her approach to facilitating animation comes from an artist’s view point and the use of technology is a means to magically bring the art work to life!

The participants will work in groups for 3 hours a day. They will get a basic training in stop motion animation. This will involve drawing and creating characters, storyboarding, filming and introduction to sound and editing.
