PICNIC IN WHITE

Sophistication is probably the last thing to think of in relation to abandoned, neglected

and simply isolated public spaces. Yet this is exactly what the festival has been trying to

achieve over the past ten years: to socialize these "unsophisticated" places and buildings,

in lending an aesthetic dimension to their existence. Since sophistication is a matter of

individual disposition, personal choice and social attitude rather than a sign of social

status or group affiliation.

Support us in the search for new forms of public and artistic presence – dress up all in

white and join us at 14.30 in the park!

With the special participation of Michelle Appelros, cello

WATER TOWER ART FEST 2016 Last 10 Closing Party:
“African Acid Sound of Water Is Lights And Shadows Of The Future“
https://www.facebook.com/events/1739138892989958/
Jules Verne Club (127 Rakovski Str, 2nd floor)

From afro to techno, and a lot more in between.

Because “Africa is mother of beat, and beat is tempo“. May your hearts beat like a water drum on this tempo and steps groove like the sound of ocean waves… on an acid trip around tribal rhythms, travelling from Senegal, Ghana, Nigeria, Congo, Zimbabwe to Ethiopia and Egypt, cruising on electronic sounds of lights and shadows, sounds of water (waves, giant waterfalls and heavy rain), exploring divinity in cosmic rhythmic and psychedelic vibration…^*^

With > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >

Africandro (Global Vision Circle, BG) :: DJ set (vinyl warm up)

Sevnseal (Schallsaft Recordings, DE/BG) :: Live + DJ set

YvesO (Studio Dauhaus, BG) :: DJ set + A/V support

> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
We invite you on a sound journey studying the aesthetics of interrelation between native African rhythms, Detroit techno and Chicago house music, as well as questioning the impact of technological evolution on native culture and art…^*^
